张载《西铭》的大爱之义

The Universal Love of the West Inscription by Zhang Zai

《西铭》是张载一篇几百字的文章 ,表达了他的人生理想价值 ,讲述了人在宇宙间的地位 ,人与宇宙的关系 ,并把“人”具体到“个人” ,由此推论到人在宇宙间应有的责任和义务以及生死问题 ,从而实践了儒家所提倡的“三不朽”。时隔千年 ,《西铭》仍折射出大爱的光辉 。

The West Inscription is an article with only a few hundred words, but expressing Zhang Zai's life idea. He talks about the human's position in Univese and their relationship to each other. He finds a man's duty and responsibility, the real meaning of life and death, the highest degree to be a man, to realize life ideal of Confucianism. The article still reflects sunshine of Universal love and shakes us although thousand years passed.
