Being the representative works of the neo-realistic novels, Chi Li's novels cleared the shallow optimism and fakeness in the former literary works through resuming the existence features. However, she abolished the exploration of the existence as well as the pursuit of significance and value, showing a vulgar orientation and spiritual weariness subject to the reality. Chi Li's novels also provided a new perspective to reflect the rough road of realism in the past century.
