把自然科学原理或旧唯物主义哲学等用于解释分析文艺现象和本质而形成的各种各样的文艺理论都可以被称为泛科学主义文论。以摹仿说为核心的古、近代科学主义关于文艺本质论、典型论和文艺真实论启示并催生了马克思主义科学文艺观,西方近、现代科学主义文论实际上是古典科学主义文论的延续和变异。随着文艺创作的发展和对文艺认识的深入,科学主义文论的局限性也应正视和超越。

The natural science and materialist philosophy are used spontaneously or unconsciously for analysis or explanation of phenomenon and essence of art and literature, thus, various theories of art and literature are formed, all of which can be called wide scientism artistic and literature theory. The classical and modern scientism whose key viewpoint is simulation theory, which is the literature and artistic essence theory and type theory and literary and artistic authenticity theory, gave birth to the Marxist theory of art and literature. Actually, western modern and contemporary scientism artistic and literary theory is the continuing and variation of classical scientism theory of art and literature. With the development of work of art and literature and further realization of art and literature, the limitation scientism theory of art and literature should be confronted with and surpassed.
