Utilization of Underground Space and Its Ability for Disaster Protection in Pudong Developing Area of Shanghai

本文从浦东开发区对发展上海的意义出发,说明其建设应更具有现代化的气息。又从浦东的地理环境和战略地位着手,分析了可能出现的各种灾害。讨论防御这些灾害的对策,得出了开发各类地下空间的必要性和可能性,并引伸出一些具体的开发利用地下空间的项目,为浦东和一些新开发区提出了一些有益的建议,

From view point of strategy positionv and geographical environment of Pudong area, the possible disasters appeared were analysed and Countermeasures against such disasters were discussed. The necessity and possibility for underground space development were pointed out. Some suggestions for utilization of underground space were given. Such suggestions can serve as recommendations for other new developing areas.
