摘要
利用国内基准台的 SK 地震记录图上的停止相研究了1989年4月16日,4月25日和5月3日巴塘3次中强地震(M_s=6.5,6.5和6.3)的震源详细破裂过程。研究结果表明:巴塘3次中强地震均为不对称双侧破裂机制,断层面走向均为 NNE,震源体破裂错动总长分别为23.9,21.3和27.1km,断层面宽度分别为7.1,6.1和6.4km,破裂错动的倾角较小,因此震源体的破裂错动以水平运动为主。
By using stopping phases of SK seismograms of standard stations on the Chinese main-land,we studied focal rupture processes of three moderately strong earthquakes(M_s=6.5,6.5 and 6.3)which occurred on April 16,April 25 and May 3,1989,arond Batang inSichuan province,respectively.The results show that focal rupture processes of thress earthquakes were bilateraland asymmetrical on the fault plane with NNE direction.THe rupture lengths of sourceswere 23.9km,21.3 and 27.1km,and the widths of fault planes were 7.1km,6.1km and6.4km,respectively.THese earthquakes were strike-slip faulting events with low dip angleand the rupture velocities were about 1.2 to 4.6 km/s.
