Development of Western Economy:From Comparative Advantage to Competitive Advantage

欠发达地区依据比较优势发展经济已成为多数经济学家的共识。根据比较优势理论,资源要素禀赋是判定是否具有比较优势的主要依据。本文的分析表明,西部在基本要素禀赋方面不具备明显的比较优势,因此,西部经济发展的关键是将发展思路从以资源禀赋为主要导向的比较优势,转变为以满足市场需求为主要导向的竞争优势。

Most economists in China realize that underdevelopment economy can depend on theory of comparative advantage.Based on this theory,resource endowment is the primary foundation.Analysis of demonstration shows that there isn′t obvious comparative advantage in western economic resources.The key of western economy development is that thinking-way must be transformed from comparative advantage to competitive advantage.
