菱纹叶蝉属中国种类记要(同翅目,叶蝉科,殃叶蝉亚科)

NOTES ON CHINESE SPECIES OF HISHIMONUS WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF TWO NEW SPECIES (HOMOPTERA,CICADELLIDAE,EUSCELINAE)

记述中国菱纹叶蝉属HishimonusIshihara 1 7种 ,其中有 2新种 ,即长突菱纹叶蝉H .prolongatussp .nov .和褐斑菱纹叶蝉H .fuscomaculatussp .nov .。

A list including 17 species of the genus Hishimonus from China is provided. two species are described as new to science. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University.1 Hishimonus prolongatus sp. nov. (Figs 1 6) Length (incl. tegm.):♂2 4?mm,♀2 6?mm. Head, pronotum and scutellum pale yellow, anterior margin of vertex with two pale brown spots, and posterior area of vertex marked with brown, posterior two thirds of pronotum with spots pale yellow.Forewings silvery white with dark brown mottling and a large brown semicircular spot against midlength of commissural margin forewing, when wings at rest, a conspicuous circular spot with that of opposite wing. This new species is allied to Hishimonus spiniferous Kuoh in appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by:1)vertex pale yellow; 2)anterior margin of vertex with two pale brown spots ;3)end of aedeagus with a furcated process. Holotype♂, paratype 1♀,Longling (24°56′N,98°38′E),Yunnan Province,24 Aug.2002,coll.by LI Zi Zhong and SONG Hong Yan.2 Hishimonus fuscomaculatus sp. nov. (Figs 7 12) Length (incl. tegm.):♂2 9 3 1?mm,♀3 0 3 3?mm. Anterior area of vertex pale greenish yellow, with two small brown spots at apex and another on the middle posteior of vertex brown, with two small black spots at base margin. Face pale yellow with marked brown. Forewings ivory,translucent, with numerous irregular dark brown patches and spots, posterior half of apical cells dark brown. This new species is similar to Hishimonus sellatus (Uhler) in appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by:1)face with marked brown;2)end of aedeagus with a furcate process;3)inside of middle of aedeagus with a small tooth. Holotype♂, paratypes 1♂,3♀♀,Fanjing Mountain (27°51′N,108°46′E),Guizhou Province, 1 2 Aug. 2002,coll. by LI Zi Zhong and SONG Hong Yan.
