Overall Understanding of the Work That Creates Value

深刻理解党的“十六大”提出的“四个尊重”的重大方针 ,需要全面认识创造价值的劳动。在社会主义市场经济条件下 ,一切有益于人民和社会的劳动 ,包括农业劳动、工业劳动、商业劳动、知识产业劳动、公务劳动、家务劳动、求学劳动等 ,都是创造价值的劳动。家务劳动和求学劳动是生产劳动力、形成劳动力价值并占社会总劳动量一半左右的重要劳动。这种广义劳动价值论不仅能用来研究人们的物质生产劳动和商品交换行为 ,而且能用来研究人们的一切劳动、一切行为和一切社会关系 。

Chinese Communist Party's 16th convention raised the important principle of '4 respects'. To understand the principle wholly, we need make full understanding of all kinds of work which create value. In the condition of socialism and market economy, all the ones beneficial to people and society, including the agricultural work, industrial work, commercial work, knowledge work, office work, home work, study pursuit work belong to work which can create value. Home work and study pursuit work are very important because they create labor and form labor value and take half of the overall workload. Such a general labor value theory can be used to study not only the material production work and commercial exchange actions, but also all human works, actions and social relations; this can lead labor value theory research to a new width and depth.
