Modernization studies started and developed in the United States, but its prototype was in the United Kingdom. England is the first industrialized country in the world, and its rules and regulations, culture and institution have exerted a much greater global influence than any other Western countries. Therefore, the research of the world modernization process from the perspective of taking the Commonwealth of Nations as a dimension is much more valuable than simple case studies.
