“三个世界”理论是中国外交理念的重大转折 ,也是中国外交政策转型的开始。邓小平在此基础上提出了中国外交的基本原则 ,从而实现了中国外交的彻底转型。

By the analysis of the backgrounds and contends of The Three World Theory, this essay concludes that it symbolizes the change of China's diplomatic ideal.The 'Three World' Theory was the beginning of transformation of China's foreign policy in 1949. On this basis, Deng Xiaoping regulated China's diplomatic doctrine in early 1980s. Therefore,Deng Xiaoping adopted and developed Mao Zedong's diplomatic thoughts.
