穆时英小说中“pierrot”形象解读

Expounding the Pierrot in the MU Shiying's Novels

在穆时英的部分小说里出现了"pierrot"(丑角)的角色。在"pierrot"身上,表现了作家对个人存在的思考:都市人在高度物质文明的享受之下,精神上却是寂寞和孤独的。他们寻找不到精神的信仰和存在的意义。也就是说他们占据了物质之有的同时却发现了意义之无。但是他没有像西方存在主义作家那样将之上升到哲学的高度,而是选择了逃避。因此这种思考是模糊的、零乱的。

There were some pierrots in the novels of MU Shiying.The writer showed his thought on the personal existence:Though people enjoyed a high degree of material civilization,but their mental world were lonely.They couldn't find the spiritual faith and the meaning of existence.MU Shiying hadn't raised his thought up to philosophy as some existential writers of the Occident did.He chose to escape.So his thought was obscure and scattered.
