摘要
传统的课堂教学PPP模式已被证明不是外语教学的理想模式,因为外语教学主要不是教给学生有关,而是要培养学习者一种使用语言的能力。这种能力需要学习者在语言使用的实践中逐步地培养。这样的语大量地在课外进行。因此,外语课堂教学的主要目的应该是培养学生的学习兴趣,通过课堂活动和教学要求,真实有效的交际需求,教给学生学习外语的良好习惯和策略,同时解决学生在外语实践过程中遇到的困难和问学应该为学生课外的自主学习服务,为培养学生的学习能力服务。语言的知言实践应提供或创题。
The traditional PPP approach has proved to be ineffective in FLT classrooms since learning a foreign language involves more than learning about the language and requires the learner to learn to use the target language in the process of using the language. Essentially, FLT should aim at helping the learner to develop the ability to learn through communication in the target language. Most of such communicative activities can only occur outside the classroom. Consequently, the major purposes of FLT classroom instruction should be to foster learners' interest in learning the target language, to provide or create real communicative needs, to train the learners in terms of learning strategies, and to help solve problems they encounter in their autonomous learning. FLT classroom teaching should therefore serve the purpose of helping the learners to learn independently outside the classroom and promoting their autonomous learning ability.
