大学文化是高等学校在办学过程中形成的,并为师生员工所认同的理想、信念、价值观和行为准则,是高校办学特色的灵魂。学生的社会性发展则是高等教育的首要目标和公民及社会发展的基础。重视大学文化建设,具有价值引导和规范作用、情感激励和凝聚作用、精神熏陶和感染作用。大学文化建设的内容,可分为观念文化建设、精神文化建设、制度文化建设和物质文化建设四个层面。

College culture is formed in the course of running college. It contains the soul of college-running as well as ideals, faith, values and code of conduct that are acknowledged by teachers, students, administrative personnel and workers. Students' Society Competence is the ultimate goal of higher education and the basis for the development of citizens and society. Emphasizing construction of college culture will be able to direct and standardize students' shape of values and to cultivate and refine their sentiments. Construction of college culture falls into four aspects of concept, spirit, system and material.
