Revolutionary romantic' is a summary and evaluation of revolutionary literature. However, this paper believes that such a summary and evaluation cover up the phenomenon of romanticism and its significance which is an objective existence in the creation of revolutionary literature. In fact, the dual resonance of rebellious passion and individual sentimentalism constitutes the keynote of sentiment of revolutionary literature. The widespread use of the first-person narrative strengthens the lyrical effect; the protracted development of drifting events is represented in the narrative pattern of a “romance'. These key elements of romanticism and “revolution' complement each other and intensify the literary flavor and dynamics of expression of revolutionary literature.
