为什么可以说“飞往北京” ,但却不能说“扔往地上” ,这是留学生颇感困惑的一个问题。本文试图解答这个问题 ,从动词和介词“往”的宾语Np两个方面 ,对“往Np +V”和“V +往Np”两种格式的区别展开分析 ,指出“V +往Np”这一结构受到几方面的限制 :V必须是 [+持续 ]、[+位移 ]的 ;同时“往”的宾语Np在形式上必须是地点名词 ,在语义上表示目的地。

Why the phrase ‘feiwang beijing’ in Chinese is acceptable while the similar one ‘rengwang dishang’ is unacceptable has always been a puzzle to non-native learners of Chinese. This article, through the analysis of the two different patterns ‘wangNp+V’and ‘V+wangNp’, concludes that‘V+wangNp’ pattern is subject to several prerequisites: V here must be \, \ and the objective Np of ‘wang’ must be the locative nouns and semantically refers to destinations.
