Neuropsychology's Foundations of Semantic Structure of Words

本文是将语言学研究同现代心理研究成果结合起来的一种尝试。在提出词义结构作为一种复杂的非分解结构的同时 ,本文提出组成该结构的 4个必要因素和 8种关系。作者试图找到上述因素和关系的心理学基础 ,并借此为诸如语义学、语用学和功能修辞学等不同学科找到一种合理的解释理论。

This article is an attempt to combine linguistic research with achievements of modern psychology. Assuming that the semantic structure of words is a complex, the proposition of non-divisibility in the semantic structure of a word, the semantic structure of a word consists of four essential elements and eight relations. The author tries to find the psychological foundations of these four elements and the eight relations, and thereby lays a sound theoretical basis for potential studies of the words from various perspectives of linguistics such as semantics, pragmatics and factional rhetoric. The theory also demonstrates inner relations among the above-mentioned branches of learning and gives a new methodology for all-sided study on the semantic dimensions of a word.
