Shadow Elimination in Image Sequence Object Detection

摘要 阴影的检测对于视频监控系统具有重要的意义,为此提出了一种利用图像相除,通过度量相除后图像的平坦度来检测和消除阴影的新方法,具有简单易实现的特点。实验证明该方法能较好地消除阴影。 Shadow detection is critical for video surveillance system. A new algorithm is proposed for this. In this approach, by using image division, through measuring the flatness degree of the result of image division, shadow detection and elimination is performed. The method is easy to implement. Experimental results, which demonstrate the method' s performance, are also shown.
