A coating combination of nickel strike, semi-bright and bright nickel, nickel sealing plus decorative chromium is suggested to provide motorcycle parts with the standard quality finish. The processes and compositions of the solutions used are presented. Control of internal stress in the deposits and other essentials in process control are discussed.
