摘要 碱金属热电转换器(AMTEC)是一种把热能直接转换成电能的高效率面积型能量转换器件,它适用于温度在900~1300K范围的多种形式的热源,热电转换效率达(30~40)%。本文介绍这种新颖的能量转换器件的工作原理和主要特点,并综述其应用前景和研究现状。 Alkali metal thermoelectric converter(AMTEC)is an area-type devicewhich converts thermal energy into electricity directly with high effeciency.AMTEC can fit a variety of heat source in the range of 900~1300K and givean effeciency of(30~40)%.The operation principle and main features of thisnew device are described here,the current progress as well as the potentialapplications are surveyed briefly.
