无论在革命时期,还是建设时期,中国共产党都代表中国工人阶级的利益。现阶段,中国工人阶级的根本任务和利益与中国人民和中华民族的根本任务和利益是一致的,党代表工人阶级的利益,也代表全国人民和整个民族的利益。党的阶级基础是工人阶级,其它社会阶层中的先进分子。是中国共产党领导中国人民建设中国社会主义伟大事业的重要依靠力量。工人阶级的先锋队性质与中国人民和中华民族的先锋队性质是有机统一的。

The Communist Party of China represents the benefit of Chinese working class no matter in the period of revolution or in socialist construction. The task and the benefit of the Chinese working class are the same as those of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people. The class basis of the Party is the working class, the other advanced elements in the social stratum are the important strength to be depended on by the Party to build China into a powerful modern socialist country. The vanguard character of the working class is the organic unity of the vanguard character of the Chinese nation's and the Chinese people.
