In this paper,the author explains and analyzes the factors that influence the development of electronic-only journals. On the aspect of technology, the key factors that influence the development of the electronic-only joumal are the display technology the communication technology, the Internet technology, and the protecting technology. On the aspect of publication, the combination of the traditional publishing industry and the Internet, especially when the traditional publishing steps into the publishing of the electronic-only journal, can speed up the development of it, and can be helpful to improve the quality and the general level of its publishing. On the aspect of management, the formulation and adjustment of relevant polices are the important guarantees for the healthy development of the electronic-only journal. On the aspect of marketing, actively spreading the user market and developing the reader groups are the primary measures for the growth and progress of the electronic-only journal.
