On "Ya" (Elegance) in Three "Shi Pins"

在三部《诗品》中 ,“雅”范畴的共同点体现在以古为雅、追求闲雅和雅俗对立三方面 ,其不同点体现在雅的内涵、雅俗关系和“雅”侧重点的不同三方面。共同点表现“雅”范畴具有传承性 ,不同点反映“雅”范畴具有与时俱进的特点 ,富有极大的包融性和极强的生命力。

In the three “Shi Pins”, the common grounds of the category “Ya”are reflected on three aspects:classic elegance, refined elegance and contrast between“Ya” and “Su”. Their differences focus on the three aspects:diversity of the connotation of “Ya”, “Ya” and “Su”, and distinct emphasis on “Ya”. We can find that the common points display succession of “Ya” in the different times and the difference shows the feature of advancing with the times together, and then draws a conclusion that “Ya” is full of great containment and vitality.
