摘要
本文从词汇词形知识形素和音素的映射关系及形素质和量的区分出发,通过对中国学生拼写错误样本的分析,初步构建了一个词形知识表征多层存储模式。作者认为,英语词汇词形知识可表征为形素性质层、形素位置层、音素位置层、辅音一元音层及节奏层(rhythm tier),并试图用该模式来解释学生拼写错误的成因。
Based on our understanding of the mapping of graphemes onto phonemes and the distinction between graphemic identity and quantity, the paper attempts to explore the representation of lexical formal knowledge stored in mental lexicon. Having closely studied Chinese students' English spelling mistakes collected in CLEC, we have constructed a multi-tiered storage model of the lexical formal representations. We maintain that the lexical formal knowledge be represented as grapheme identity, grapheme position, phoneme position, consonant-vowel and rhythm tiers respectively. Furthermore, we have tried to account for the possible causes of students' spelling mistakes, using the model we proposed.
