Several methods and practical problems that they can solve were discussed including multivariate regression analysis, fuzzy system, gray system theory, artificial neural network, and expert system. The adaptability to predict the fabric performances were analyzed and compared according to the characteristics of these mathematics methods, and the comments were provided for the prediction of fabric performances.
