本文从我国经济建设的巨大成就和能源消耗十分严重的相对比中,分析了我国将面临长期的严峻的能源形势,当前需要更加重视开发第五能源——节能。节电,是节能的重要组成部分,应当从发电、送变配电和用电等各方面开展节电工作。

It is described that China s economic and social development have made remarkable progress with higher energy consumption for per unit output value. China will face serious energy supply situation in a comparatively long period. At present, we must more attach importance to conservation of energy-as the fifth energy resource. The conservation of electricity is an important component of conser-vatian of energy. Development of conservation of electricity must be made in the whole process of production of electricity including generation, transformation, transmission, distribution and utilization. The conservation of electricity has graeat potentialities.
