摘要
1999年6月,西安市南郊雁塔区曲江乡羊头镇砖厂在羊头镇村西取土时,发现唐墓一座。西安市文物保护考古所得到消息后立即派员前往,并对该墓进行了抢救性清理发掘,现简报如下。
Located at Qujiang Township in the southern suburbs of Xi'an, the tomb underwent excavation in 1999.This catacomb consisting of a ramp, passage, corutyard, wall niche, tunnel and chamber is a joint burial as is indicated by two coffins belonging obviously to a couple, The uncovered 19 tri-color figurines are samll yet vividly shaped, and the female ones have a slender build. The presence of so many tri-color figurines in a so small tomb is just infrequent countrywide.According to the epitaph, the tomb owner Yao Wupo was a low-ranking officer who died and buried here in the second year of the Wansui Tongtian reign period.
