简要介绍了光缆数字通信传输网监控系统(ODTNSS)在数字光通信设备及通信网络运行、维护和管理中的作用;ODTNSS的一般功能要求;在ODTNSS研究中所要解决的关键技术;国内ODTNSS研究的进展。

The functions of supervisory system used in optical cable digital transmission networks (ODTNSS) in the respects of operation, maintenance and administration of optical telecommunications equipment and networks are briefly described in this paper. The general requirements on the ODTNSS's functions, the key technology with should be solved in the study of ODTNSS are discussed. This paper also shows the advance of ODTNSS_s in our country.
