今年3月国际唱片协会代表国内外几十家唱片公司,向全国1万多家卡拉OK索赔视频播放权事件引起了业内外一片哗然。两个多月过去了,一万多封律师函也已发出,但卡拉OK界反映冷淡,只有几家同意“埋单”。

In March, International Disc Association represents 70 overseas and Chinese record companies to deliver 2000 legal letters to KTV, Karaoke, Pub Houses and other correlative entertaining business. The said letters request the Karaoke to stop using the music television( MTV), music of the above record company' record image( MV)without authorization. The further infringement acts will be severely fined without mercy. Almost all the Karaokes would not be ready to pay the corresponding fines, but their responses to the lawyer's letters differ greatly.
