摘要
本文综述了硅酸盐材料在光学和光电子学领域的应用。重点介绍了我国激光和光学材料(包括玻璃和晶体》的发展,玻璃和玻璃陶瓷在生物工程领域的应用;及稀土化合物和矿物在新一代玻璃和陶瓷工业中的应用。
The application of silicate materials in optics and optoelectronics has been reviewed. The main emphases have been put on the development of silicate laser and optioal materials(as glasses and crystals)in China, the application of glasses and glass-ceramics in bio-engineering, and the uses of rare earth compounds and minerals in advanced glass and ceramic industry.
