Network reconfiguration in distribution system is the important measure of distribution automation, and it is the core software of the urban and suburban network reconstruction, which is invested heavily by the government now. By distribution network reconfiguration, the economy and security of the system can be improved greatly, which may bring out great benefit both in economy and in society. The corresponding methods for network reconfiguration in the literature are reviewed. Their features and main problems are discussed for further research and development.
