摘要
本文针对我国目前大学英语测试中存在的问题进行了针对性的分析和思考。同时指出以多项选择题为主导的大学英语等级考试缺少结构效度,不能真正有效检测到考生的真实水平,且对外语教学也产生了不良的反拨作用。但在尚且无法改变教师和考生应试心态的情况下,测试设计者可考虑将试题多样化,尽量采用考查运用语言水平的题型,在四六级测试中设立口语考试。总之,语言测试应全面反映被测试者的听、说、读、写等基本语言技能。
This paper focuses on the current existing problems in CET and puts forward relevant analysis. Meanwhile, it points out that the multiple choices - based questions in CET lead to the lack of validity in structure of the test itself, which is of no use to distinguish the real levels by test takers, neither can it reflect the positive wash - back effect on the foreign language teaching. In view of the present testing system, the test makers had better consider diversifying CET in which more subjective questions are to be raised. Such as the spoken English should be included in CET. In a word, CET has to be designed to reflect the students' comprehensive abilities in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
