摘要
在高等医学院校本科教育中实施双语教学是教育部根据社会发展需要高素质的人才而提出的要求,目的是促进我国培养的医学本科生参与国际竞争、交流与合作.但就目前形势看,中国普通高等医学院校本科教育水平参差不齐,大多数学生公共英语水平一般,专业英语水平较差.本文从多角度综合考虑,在阐述双语教学所期望带来的好处的同时,提出了在目前条件下实施双语教学所面临的问题以及逐步解决上述问题的参考性建议.
Bilingual teaching in undergraduate education at medical colleges and universities has been carried out according to the requirement by the Ministry of Education because of the need to train high-quality talents suitable for the social development. The purpose is to enable medical students to take part in the international competition, exchange and cooperation. However, judging from the present situation, the level of undergraduate education at ordinary medical college universities differs in many ways. Most of the students have an average level in general English and lower level in specialized English. This article takes different aspects into consideration, both elaborating the potential advantages brought by bilingual teaching and presenting some problems to be solved and some suggestions for bilingual teaching.
