The actuality that acetic acid quality of Yangzi Petrochemical Company (YPC) pipeline is deteriorating because of steam tracing is analyzed. The rebuilding project of electric tracing method is advanced.This rebuilding project is proved to be successful by actual operation. The electric tracing is especially suitable for thermo-sensitive medium pipelines.
