The circumstances and situation that the methanol industry of China are facing with are analyzed. It is emphasized that for the continuable development of the methanol industry in China the relationship with the coal industry, fuel industry, fertilizer industry and power industry must be correctly handled, and suggestions on the development of methanol industry are made.
