摘要
磁性材料的磁光性质是人们很感兴趣的话题,磁极化子的色散关系和色散特性是研究磁性材料磁光性质的基础。研究了在Otto位型下单轴反铁磁薄膜的表面模和导模的色散关系。首先给出了动力学磁化率和磁导率张量,然后利用麦克斯韦方程组和边界条件严格地推导出了反铁磁薄膜磁极化子的色散方程。从磁极化子的色散方程出发,得到结论:①当α2为实数或虚数时,可分别得到表面模和导模的色散关系;②当空气夹层的厚度d→∞时,得到孤立薄膜的色散方程。
Study of magneto-optical properties of magnetic materials has been an interesting field.The dispersion relation and dispersion features of magnetic polaritons are the basis for studying the magneto-optical properties.The linear dispersion relationship between bulk and surface polaritons is investigated and discussed by a uniaxial antiferromagnetic film in Otto configuration. With the Maxwell equations and boundary conditions satisfied by the wave fields,the expressions of dispersion relation are derived strictly. From the dispersion equations, it is concluded ① In case that α_2 is real or imaginary, the surface mode and the guide mode are obtained respectively. ② In case that the thickness of vacuum cavity is d→∞,the dispersion equation of isolated antiferromagnetic film can be obtained.
