This paper introduces four kinds of measurements for the water level in water drum of a boiler in reheating furnace in High - speed wire rod mill, which include the measure system of series of the equilibrium container and different pressure tkansmission of the equilibrium container and the water level instrument of double ripple vessel , of the electrical lap point water level and of the glass tube water level. Meanwhile it analyses in contrast the characteristics , practical utilization and error of the four measurements in detail.
