Claim management is an important part of construction management. It is essential to construction development to protect lawful benefits of enterprise by flexible using FIDIC Item. This paper describes the necessity, inevitability and lawful cause as well as procedure, know-how and precaution for construction claim based on FIDIC Item and the practise in consturction management, for reference to construction claim.
