摘要
在电波传播的分析方法中,射线法(或几何光学法)和波导模式法直到最近都还是最重要的方法。但在分析媒质在传播方向的非均匀性及复杂边界条件对传播特性的综合影响时,这两种方法都显得无力。本文描述一种最近正在兴旺起来的抛物方程近似法。给出了它的推导方法及应用的例子,并讨论了该方程的分步FFT解法,目前理论和应用研究的趋势。
Ray and wave guide mode methods have been the dominate methods in electromegnetic wave propagation analysis until recent years. But for the analysis of wave propagation in a medium which is inhomogeneous in both vertical and horizontal direction with complex boundary conditions, these methods are incapable. This paper presents a newly developed method, Parabolic Equation Approximation(PE) method to cope with complex wave propagation problems. The derivation of PE and its split step FFT solving method are given. Some examples of using PE method are also given. The present and future researches are suggested.
