研究旨在探讨科技论文英文文摘的翻译规律,归纳了英文文摘的翻译原则与特点,在借鉴"功能对等"的西方翻译原理和传统的"信、达、雅"翻译思想基础上,提出有关翻译科技文摘的方法建议.同时对常见的错误从语法逻辑、句子结构、时态、语言特点等角度进行了分析,建议英文文摘采用带修饰语的简单句并保持句式平衡,以主动语态为主,使用书面语体翻译.并推荐一些典型的例句以资参考.

The research paper was designed to discuss some standards for the laws of translating English abstracts from scientific and technological papers and sum up the principles and features of translating English abstracts. The author put forward methods and suggestions on translating abstracts from scientific and technological papers by using the Western theory of “functional equivalence” and the traditional idea of “faithfulness, intelligibility and elegance” on translation. It analyzed the common writing mistakes from the angles of grammar, logic, sentence structure, tense and linguistic features. The author suggests using simple sentences with modifiers and balancing sentence structures as well as active voice and favoring formal writing style. Lastly, some typical sentences are recommended for reference in translation.
