The rights for lawyers to make investigations and collect evidences is a guarantee of a Lawyer's profession as well as an important right a lawyer enjoys. As far as China is concered , there still exist many deficiencies either in legislation or in practice. In order to emphasize and protect a lawyer's right of profession , we ought to analyze the reasons and put forward improving policies according to the present situation.
