欧洲文艺复兴时期的思想家将人性作为理解人以及人的道德行为的根本原则。从人的理性出发,充分肯定人的地位、人的尊严和人的价值并在此基础上倡言自由和幸福,是这一时期人的哲学理论的根本主张。通过倡导人的尊严和人的价值,最后走向自我,是这一时期人学理论发展的基本线索。

Humanity is held as the underlying principles governing human race and morality by thinkers in European Renaissance. Ration-mindedness, affirmation of human's place, dignity and value, and advocacy of freedom and happiness are the fundamental philosophical principles at this time, and by advocating dignity and value of human race, returning to self underlines the clues for development of humanity study.
