In marketing economy, the cost of the supplier's adjusting the scale of production can be called 'adjustment cost'. Because of the existence of adjustment cost, there is 'the low critical point' and 'high critical point' on the two sides of the center point of aggregate equilibrium in the traditional analysis. The two points demarcate a special 'aggregate equilibrium interval'. The existence of aggregate equilibrium interval has various influences on operation and regulation of macro-economy. It conduces to some changes of the shape of aggregate undulation, weakens the adjustment function of the market on balancing aggregate supply and demand, makes aggregate disequilibrium showing more complicated form, and increases the difficulties of the macro-regulation by the government. The analysis on the problem of aggregate equilibrium interval reminds us that we must renew the understanding on the aggregate equilibrium, attach importance to the aggregate equilibrium interval and its influence, and make further research on the disequilibrium within the aggregate equilibrium interval.
