Germany's Special Way and Its End

德国历史文化传统与纳粹主义的产生有无必然的联系 ,一直是学术界关注的一个重大理论问题。在德国历史发展过程中 ,存在着明显的相互背离的两种发展趋势。一种是狂热追逐军国主义和民族主义的保守的德意志 ,另一种则是积极倡导人道主义和民主主义的自由的德意志 ,双方力量对比的消长决定着德国民主化的进程。由于承载了过于沉重的历史包袱 ,德国最终走上了有别于西方主流社会的特殊发展道路。随着二战末期及战后初期社会历史环境的深刻转变 。

The academic circles have focused for a long time on the issue of whether there is an inevitable connection between the rise of Nazism and the traditional German historical culture.There obviously existed two opposite trends in the course of Germany's historical developments.One was a fanatic and conservative Germany that chased militarism and nationalism.The other was a free Germany that actively advocated humanitraianism and democracy.The German democratic course depended on the growth or decline of power of either side.Having a heavy historical burden,Germany finally embarked on a special developmental way which different from that of other Western mainstream societies.With a profound transition of social historical environments at the end of World WarⅡ and in the early post-war periond,Germany's special way came to an end.
