Owing to the relationship between the novel and citizen culture the ending of reunion showed the same characteristic in the two nations. It's the result that the novel writers tried to look for a pattern that was suitable for the citizen culture. It's also the ideal realization of citizen's life in the fiction. Meanwhile this pattern had the close links with traditional culture.
