The background agricultural conditions of the underdeveloped areas have decided that their leap-forward developing mode should make their traditional output updated and agriculture industrialized. Based on the research on the present state of the agricultural development in the underdeveloped areas, the paper puts forward the strategic choices of agricultural leap-forward development and explains some guiding thought, orientation and important points in carrying out the strategy and some other key issues which need solving urgently.
