略论中国化学的发展

A Brif Discussion on the Development of Chinese Chemistry

中国化学具有悠久的历史,是世界化学的发源地之一,为世界化学的产生、形成和发展做出了卓越的贡献,本文以三个发展阶段——古代(1840年以前)、近代(1840～1949)和现代(1949至今)为线索,对中国化学发展的历程、成就和问题作一论述,以期促进中国化学的发展。

Chinese chemistry is a science with a long history, and China is one of the cradles of chemistry research. She has contributed very much to the emergeue, formation and development of the world chemistry research. With the purpose of promoting the development of chinese chem- istry, this article will make a discussion on the course, achievement and problems of the develop- ment of the chemistry, based on the clue of clivision of the development phases of chinese chem- istry-ancient period (before 1840), modern period (1840-1949) and contempory period (from 1949 till now).
