Some locating manners of GPS and transform methods of measuring coordinate system are expounded in this paper. Taking some concrete examples in gravity survey,andgeologic engineering measuring recently, It shows that GPS geodetically measuring technique can be widely used in geophysical prospecting, geochemical exploration and geologic survey, pointing out some issues needed to pay more attention in the operating. Looking forward to this technique, it is considered that its prospects should be more and more wide.
