This paper briefly describe application and development of the CAD in the hydraulic machinery, the set-up of the mathematical model in the caculation of hydro-turbine models selection,the function and the characteristic of the CAD software in hydro-turbine,and the economic value of applying CAD in hydraulic machinery.
