摘要
极地云表面催化大气平流层中的一些反应,产生出HOCl和Cl2,它们被光解而释放出消耗臭氧的元凶Cl原子.冰晶表面可以催化这些反应的传统解释源于诺贝尔奖获得者Molina的离子催化假设.但是,越来越多的事实表明,离子催化的机理是不全面的.赵新生小组首先提出了冰表面结构催化的新机理,该机理为以后新的实验和理论所证实.本文简短回顾了近几年研究的进展.
Certain reactions are catalysed on t he polar stratospheric clouds to pro duce HOCl and Cl 2 which can be turned into Cl by the UV light from t he sun,and Cl is believed to be the arc h-criminal in the atmospheric ozone depletion.The traditional ion-catalysis mechanism was based on the suggestion by Molina,a Nobel Prize laur e-ate.However,more and more facts hav e indicated that this mechanism need s to be revised.Zhao Xin-Sheng' s group first proposed a mechanism of s tructure catalysis which relies on t he surface structure of the ice.The m echa-nism has been confirmed by new experimental and theoretical studies.Thi s paper briefly reviews some key devel-opment in recent years.
