Belief Crisis and Aesthetic Education

在处于历史转型期的今日中国,不少人产生了对共产主义的信仰危机,其结果是在物欲膨胀与精神贫 困中灵魂异化,人格卑下,甚至犯罪堕落。因此,文章提出以"美育树信仰"的教育主张,来改变信仰危机的局面。 具体途径有三:一是以美怡情,激活生命;二是以美养性,净化心灵;三是以美修德,树立共产主义信仰。

In the present-day transitional period of China, there has emerged, among a great many people, a kind of communist belief crisis, which results in the swelling of material desires and mental poverty, accompanied by the alienation of the soul, the deterioration of moral quality and even crimes. To get over the crisis, this essay proposes a view of 'setting belief by aesthetic education', which means applying the theory of aesthetics to achieve three ends: to cheer one's heart so as to activate one's life, to compose one's mind so as to purify one's soul and to cultivate one's morality So as to help strengthen one's communist belief.
